I agree, the panel did deviate, and was a little too comedic when perhaps it should have been more serious, or at least more focused.

Daniel was missed, his input would have been worthy.

Absolutely. I was live-blogging throughout and when my power ran out, I wasn’t that regretful about it. Seriously, the Global Skepticism panel seemed to give a bigger range of strategies and avenues for people who might be considering ‘where to go next’.

And for Karen’s quote box: “Skepbitch demonstrates what’s needed in skepticism – sober, mindful and fully-clothed commentary that isn’t afraid to say ‘what the fuck is this shit??’”

That ‘Future of Skepticism’ panel lost focus way too early and needs to be repeated again next year, perhaps with Daniel Loxton to moderate.
